The aim of Pandora’s Box is to open up academic discussion of legal, social and political issues to a broader audience. This is achieved by featuring interviews, articles and book reviews from distinguished judges, academics, and practitioners. The theme for this year’s journal is ‘Identity in the Law.’ This edition will explore a range of issues including the gendered view of family violence legislation and rape law, the same sex marriage plebiscite, and the female experience in law.

The lecture will reflect this theme and discuss the importance of diversity in the law and the legal profession.

This event is a collaboration between the Justice and the Law Society and the Asian Australian Lawyers Association
